Possessions are Illusions

No man chooses evil because it is evil; he only mistakes it for happiness, the good he seeks. – Mary Wollstonecraft

A good part of my time here was spent by me, being an involuntary witness of people trying to decide between who owns what. If you sense just a little bit of resentment in this introduction, you won’t be far from the truth. Part of my special program was to be put in a situation where there is contradicting beliefs and a generous amount of paradoxes.

If you sense just a little bit of resentment in this introduction, you won’t be far from the truth. Part of my special program was to be put in a situation where there is contradicting beliefs and a generous amount of paradoxes.

Last night, I planned to rise up early out of bed, go to the gazebo in my yard, start on the 5 000 word translation,  translate also a poem, while I snuggle with little Avalokita from time to time (a newborn kittie that holds the power of a real tiger).

Then relatives stopped by the house and as you can guess, my plans were quickly dismantled. The elders are battling for an old house that no one currently lives in. I embraced the sudden change of plans and poured some coffee. I was hoping to see a heart-to-heart between my old grandmother and her brother.

I was hoping to see a heart-to-heart between my old grandmother and her brother. Because no matter how long I live on planet Earth, I hold idealistic expectations and they have been restored somehow after every single time reality kicked in and kicked them out.

My wonderful intention to start on a high note quickly got lost in translation. They are battling about an old house that no one lives in. I embraced the sudden change, poured coffee and was hoping to see a heart-to-heart of my old grandmother and her brother.

They started arguing for the ownership of an old house that no one lives in. I had dreamed about it a couple of days ago. I embraced the sudden change, poured us some coffee and was hoping … to see a heart-to-heart of my old grandmother and her brother. Little did I know, within minutes, they would begin a heated discussion of private properties that they haven’t dealt with for the last twenty years.

My grandma’s opponent didn’t care that much.

These are my last days anyway, he said.

There is no such conflict in my mind.

When my friend got a dog the other day, she sent me a photo and the simple message saying: “She’s all Mine.” She seemed relieved somehow. But what do you need to be relieved of? What?

Your cat or dog is not your cat or dog, my friend. Our house is not your house, your shoes are not your shoes, even if you paid for them with the last cent you own.  They are simply – a house, a pair of shoes.

The cat and the dog are your tiny little brothers and sisters, they carry life like any other living Soul here. You cannot possess a living being. You cannot possesses a material good either even if it says so on the paper.

People waste their precious energy all the time trying to solve material issues that don’t actually exist. I don’t have to imagine John Lennon’s verses to be true. I understand they are. Society forgot they are true. So, instead of dealing what our Souls need, we are dealing with things that don’t really exist.

Like ownership. Private properties are a complete joke if you ask me. So, instead of dealing with the Soul, Spirit & all that is Divine and inherently true, we are dealing with things that aren’t real, that doesn’t leave a single value in our consciousness.

So our consciousness becomes mostly occupied by material wants and needs. This is the shortest path that spirals down is losing yourself into the illusions which create the world of possessions, of inquiring and wanting more of everything.

Solitude? Absence? What lack is it that desperately needs Her? You are a caretaker and she’s your companion. But she’s not yours. There is no ownership here.

Our bodies are not our bodies! Why do we suffer when someone lets go of their body and wishes to go home? Is it ignorance, or selfishness, or illusions that keep is in this loop of misunderstanding.

I realize I’m not sharing a profound truth here. It’s all been written, it’s all been discovered, so at best – this is just a reminder to return to feeling lighter.

We have been heavily overloaded with so many possessions. Just take a look at the huge sales, the noisy world out there, the competition, the goal-setting where the money comes first and the man comes nowhere. Such a karmic race.

Why are we so desperate into acquiring anything? Why is it so scary to live without possessions? It’s not. It’s liberating, my friend! You suffer less, enjoy more and find bliss easily because bliss is not a long way there, it’s over here.

Once you stop paying attention to the wrong things…this happens.

I know we need a roof over our heads, clothes on our back, water, food. I’m not saying we should live without our basic needs. I’m not urging a hippie movement either. But do you realize how many are frantically over-satisfying their “needs”?

I’m not saying we should live without our basic needs. There is a slight difference between making use of all these things and clinging to them, be ready to fight with the fellow man, with those that need a kind word rather than being pushed aside for a property or a comfortable position.

I am positive you understand this. Any person with consciousness would understand. And yet, so many of us fall into the wrong pattern, we accept it as if it’s the outside world that governs us and we obey, we become slaves of what others believe.

But if their beliefs were so good, wouldn’t they be in a better place? Wouldn’t they be lighter, fulfilled and grateful?

When we leave this place, we will leave everything behind and we should not feel sorry for a single piece of possessions.

Take care of your words, feelings, your heart, your mind, and Soul. And if you accomplish all of this, everything else will fall into place, but you won’t have lost your dignity and value over a piece of anything.

It saddens me to see that the house ends up owning the owner. Can’t you see, we are just transiting? The vastness of this Universe awaits us and we need to be gentle if we want to end up in a loving place.

Leave all violence behind.

The violence of acquiring anything is too, a type of violence.

If you receive a gift, then receive it with dignity, grace and with the desire to give back, to share, to love.

We never gain anything, we never lose anything. Nothing was ours in the first place. How can we lose or gain then? It’s true even with break-ups. What are you suffering from? It didn’t happen the way you planned and projected it. And our plans will fail every single time.

There is just one force in this world, in all words.

It gives and it takes away.

Why not be thankful for it?

Why do we deliberately lose the freedom we’ve been given?

Who do we complain to about our suffering but ourselves?

Why do we forget our real home, our real origin?

Why do we teach kids how to be successful and we never mention there is a Soul,

a journey they are on?

Be happy when you lose, my friend.

I know I am celebrating every single time I lose.

I used to cry over failures until I finally understood,

I am given a much higher direction and what is perceived as a loss by someone, is a great, great gift to my Soul.

It’s a precious gift: to know how to “lose’ is to know how to find your way back Home.

  1. Nice Article

The Quote attracted me to go for this…..EVIL…. But it’s also about power and perception, about what good and evil are and whether they can be truly defined as such. Enemies and friends switch places. But the fact is The more Friends you have the More enemies you create, Cause the Enemy once was your Friend too.. Power changes perception and fluctuation occurs.

Possessions are Illusions may be thats why jesus said Quote ” Unless you are poor in spirit you will not attain to my kingdom of God” Unquote…..But the fact is at times its very easy to Renounce your Wealth and posessions and become poor outwardly…Realising all that is nothing but a mere illusions….. But this may also be a dellusion as it may hinder and not help to raise EGO inside of u making one think that He/She is not an Ordinary mortal cause i have Renounced all of My Possessions so much so that am not NORMAL am not ordinary mortal but am a SAGE.. Slowly this things let him And deep down in him he starts comparing himself with those who have not renounced. He becomes “holier-than-thou.” He starts pretending he is above all, that he will go to heaven and other who have not !! will go to Hell. Ego gets him in and Rather then being inwardly Poor he becomes inwardly Rich, EGO power gets him in ………So merely saying Possessions are Illusions Wont Work??…..And Renouncing it will also Not Work??….The main Theme here is Renounce your EGO….When you say above Under “We never gain anything, we never lose anything. Nothing was ours in the first place. How can we lose or gain then?” I would say Let this world be as it is?? You can’t Renounce anything ? How can you …Things Which does not belong to you… You come into this world without a thing and you go from this world without a thing. You come empty-handed and you go empty-handed. Nothing belongs to you, so how can you renounce? You come naked and Will Go the same……U came with a Body but even that will be left behind when u die…. You go into emptyness

Possessions are Illusions, One way or the other human will realise it Soon enough.!!… Some will after Death!!. Just accept the things as they are it’s as simple and profound.. In lay terms ego leads to Pride, superiority, conceit and ‘I’ness.. More the EGO more attacks from Negative energy …. Be like the emptiness of the child The Moment EGO Goes Love steps in.. So , be a Bigger Person Skip the “E” and let it “GO” If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

    Anyway Thanks for the Article

    You are Awesome

  2. Hello there, Galactic human!

    Thank you for your comment.
Similar thoughts have crossed my mind more than once.

Simplicity is the key to understanding. If we get lost in the games of our minds we will never get out of the labyrinth they create. Indeed, I believe everything is perfectly set in this world, as imperfect at it seems.

Power almost always leads to corruption on some level.
It also takes a great many lives and lots of efforts sometimes for a Soul to recover from its downfall sometimes,
so power is really not the purpose of anything.
There is few case where Souls are placed in authoritative positions with the purpose to lead, with completely different sense and understanding of Mankind. Their perspectives are never narrowed down to their power. Rather, they are cautious of it as they realize there are huge responsibilities attached to their words, actions, thoughts, and feelings.

The truth of the matter to me is the leader is almost always the most silent one, he or she is humble.
He is the one who doesn’t need to stand out or even act directly. Sometimes his or her presence is enough and it holds, protects and takes care of the rest. If he speaks, then he speaks from his heart, with the love and wisdom he carries and always thinks of the whole. Forget the word passion here, this is modern-day tales that already became redundant to many. Passion doesn’t mean being truthful, honest, it doesn’t mean integrity, right?

I’m not the one to believe in heroes though. There are no heroes.
There are teachers, there are great spirits that developed over thousands and millions of years before us, they are
of a very high order, they can indeed make a lasting change in the consciousness of many and remind of the purpose and direction of a soul by profoundly touching their inner state.

The whole point of the above article is to realize we are never rich, nor poor.

In the so-called poorness, you can gain a deep insight and rediscover your inner abilities, as well as the the right form of real confidence (does not depend on your status, approval of your own Self for your self, or on riches). Or one could find the beauty of asking for assistance, for changing your mind and the way you are in this world. In this sense, poorness is beautiful.

As a matter of fact, I don’t like poorness in the sense that if one is battling with their main needs from day-to-day, when will they be thinking and realizing all the wonderful potentials for all worthy ideas in this world? We shouldn’t struggle to make ends meet, or be dependant on the constant battle to acquire more and more skills, it becomes insane. Ambitions mean illness.

I’ve seen plenty of people considering themselves better, for not having as much as those that do have. They compare themselves to the evil rich and feel better. This is so true in my country. I’ve seen it pass through me a number of times, it’s embedded somewhere deep in the consciousness so many people downplay their part in life.

Although to a great, wise spirit that would be a child’s game and a fun experiment, they would overcome it quite easily and get out of it more sure of their connection to the Divine. 🙂 They would build themselves up 🙂

Everything is possible in this world of paradox.

One day, when we are ready, all basic needs will be finally met – and I don’t mean just food and shelter.
When we collectively realize that there is a different way to develop ourselves and live, the poorness and the “powerful players” will simply become redundant.

So, if there are present now, they are needed. “We never gain anything, we never lose anything. Nothing was ours in the first place. How can we lose or gain then?”

All the best and thanks for stopping by,
the blog is fresh from the oven 🙂

  3. You said Simplicity is the key to understanding??
Well this also I thought it tobe TRUTH when I was of ur Age now am 36, But Hold On… Nothing You see OR believe to-be the TRUTH is the TRUTH…. Its actually BIG LIE…. We see This thru only the projection by someone or the Main Stream media thinking whatever they said was the TRUTH… But its all FAKE NEWS…. And its an Illusion …. It took me 2 years to grasp the REAL TRUTH ….The moment I went Deep down the Rabbit Hole , I realize Our World is NOT what it seems, well its not Walk in the PARK, And then Through all the lies there may be some truth….Do you care enough to question your self and what your eyes can see, to find it? Let’s try shall we? When everything is upside-down and thinking straight seems far away… When wrongs are rights and rights are wrongs , how can we choose the path that suits us best?…
You said I believe everything is perfectly set in this world, as imperfect at it seems.
Everything was Perfect at ONE Time… But it is NOT?? From the beginning of time we have been sceptical of our purpose as humans…Questions rise such as “Where from…” .. or worse… “Where to…” ?And i wonder how it is we are constantly stuck in the past. Stuck in moments we think made us happy when evidently we have absolutely NO clue about what happiness truly is..i may sound to you a bit Weird, but as Dresden James said Quote “ When a well packaged Web of Lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the TRUTH will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic” Unquote
You said Power almost always leads to corruption on some level.
I would say POWER corrupts all and at all levels, in the Words of Lord acton “ All powers tend to Corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely” OR in the words of Abrahim Lincoln “ Nearly all men can stand adversity , but if you want to test a mans character give him power”
You said It also takes a great many lives and lots of efforts sometimes for a Soul to recover from its downfall sometimes, so power is really not the purpose of anything.
I say Power has only ONE purpose and that is to Enslave Humanity Under a Few Elites, Or The Bankers Who has a Fondness in declaring WAR on world problems, be it a WAR on cancer a WAR on Crime a War on Drugs a War on Terrorism a War on AIDS, What we find within this WAR is the Policies designed to advance their own objectives or Agenda, Dont Forget all WARS are BANKERS WAR… why do we have so many problems, Why you cant Find a Single Human being on this Planet without a DEBT as of TODAY, cause everyone is in DEBT…
We the people foolishly gave our Own powers to a few Politicians and the Politicians their powers to the BANKS.. Who now OWN everything on this planet including all of Humanity that to Fraudulently in their own words Quote “First we will pursuade humanity that paper has value then we will convince them their isn’t enough paper ( MONEY) They will forget the meaning of life, and will work as slave to out paper, perpetually in DEBT to us from CRADLE to GRAVE” unquote.
you said The truth of the matter to me is the leader is almost always the most silent one, he or she is humble.

Forget the word passion here, this is modern-day tales that already became redundant to many. Passion doesn’t mean being truthful, honest, it doesn’t mean integrity, right?
Ur above statements is TRUE abt the Leader you mentioned……. But Sadly they Don’t exist now… Even if they do… They don’t stand a Chance against the Elites and will be assassinated in no time
You said I’m not the one to believe in heroes though. There are no heroes.
There are teachers, there are great spirits that developed over thousands and millions of years before us, they are of a very high order, they can indeed make a lasting change in the consciousness of many and remind of the purpose and direction of a soul by profoundly touching their inner state.
As far as Heroes goes I Stand by you, But I would also say this In his autobiography, Adolf Hitler has made many significant statements. One of the statements is that if a politician wants to be a great hero, a great historical figure, then the only way is to create a great WAR. Without war you don’t have heroes.
You said The whole point of the above article is to realize we are never rich, nor poor.

Yes I agree with you we are neither RICH or POOR, but if you see our World history its quiet the opposite… Kabir becomes religious. He was not a millionaire, but he was tremendously intelligent. Buddha became religious because he was tremendously rich. Krishna and Ram and Mahavir became religious because they were tremendously rich. Dadu, Redas, Farid, they became religious because they were tremendously intelligent. But a certain sort of richness is needed. Well there were some exception like Henry Ford who was was born poor, and became the richest man in the world. But in the end Don’t forget what Jesus said “A camel can pass through the eye of a needle, but a rich man cannot pass through the gates of heaven.”
you said I’ve seen plenty of people considering themselves better, for not having as much as those that do have. They compare themselves to the evil rich and feel better. Yes it will happen… As we await for the RV and Global Re-set, which will make everyone on this Planet EQUAL.. Humanity’s moment of awakening is very close, The old order, which has for eons striven to contain and restrain humanity by enslaving it in debt, is collapsing. Its last dying efforts to hold on to power will not be successful. Its time is past. Massive changes will happen throughout our Planet. During this September 2017, Waking up out of a fear driven trance state which most people call reality, and seeing what is really going on. The real “story” is way cooler than anything you can imagine. There is nothing to learn. Only to unlearn, and remember.
It is a remembering if what has been forgotten long ago.
How do ideal and live in such a Fake world ?? Yes by not getting involved or Reacting to it, Remember Ships don’t sink because of Water around them, Ships sink because of Water that gets IN them, Don’t let what’s happening around you get inside you and weigh you down.
    You are aweome, More power
    Regards
